They Just Keep Comin'

These great weekends with my kids don't seem to stop! I guess there is no end when there is a committed parent and 3 such incredible kids. We finally got to the new Pirates movie Friday night; we tried the 7 o'clock show but it was sold out so we ended up going at 8:15. We'd been trying to go since it opened but it was sold out then the kids were with their "mother." One more black mark on the whole divorce idea, still truly sad I think. Great show though, especially since Kick is such a fan of the first one; if you haven't seen it, I recommend you do. I got to hang out with my buddy Chad a bit, great to see him as always, and thanks for the help man! The boys and I got up Saturday with plans on fishing but didn't go because Ky felt like sleeping in. It really was fine, it gave me a chance to get some laundry and housework done. We tried to go outside and play but it was just TOO HOT! We finally decided to go swimming, the indoor pool is open much later than the outdoor ones so we went there and stayed until it closed. I ran into some old friends down there and we made plans to get together. It was nice to see and visit with people; and to be once again reminded the number of people still on the right side things. We went to McD's for supper then to DQ for ice cream, I love summer nights with my family! This morning we got up and went fishing; everybody caught fish within an hour and a half, then my mom called and invited us to breakfast. We met everyone at Colonial House (of course) and had a great breakfast then went to mom's for a couple hours. We got to play with little Mary Ellen (AJ's daughter) she is just starting to walk, 21 steps to Ky today! The afternoon started with another movie (X-3) also very good, then home for some homework, more housework and laundry. The kids watched some tv, I got the boys bathed, read to, and tucked in. I just tucked Ky in and now it's time for Deadwood on HBO. I hope all is well, I'll get some new pics up soon.
